How to use meta Tag in Website according to Matt Cut
Meta tag has playing a very important role in Google an Bing Ranking. Bing is based on Meta tag or Bing search is based on meta tag present in website. Google is not giving high ranking to paid advertisement. Because Google Crawler give high priority to quality based content. Quality based content means content related to about what is product or service. Few step should be in on page optimization. There are few steps for On page optimization according to Google updates:
Title: Please use Descriptive content in form of Sentence according to Hamming bird update. Because Google voice searching is playing a big role.If your search is wide than you will get accurate result.
Meta tag: Meta tag should be tag about title. Use relevant meta tag.
Description : This is key feature for On page SEO. Because Google search engine read your description. Description is a conclusion about the web page. So use a unique and product or services related description.
Use Canonical: Canonical helps your website in "www" fetching.
Example : <link href="https://www.telcan.com/" rel="canonical" />

Image optimization: Use Alt tag in image code. Also use Title of image with alt tag.

Internal linking : Use Internal linking in website. This will help in searching.
Google publisher: Use google publisher tag in Body section .
Google webmaster : You can submitted you URL in webmaster. This will help website in indexing.
Site map: Submit a site map in webmaster.
SMO sites : You can link your SMO account in your website like - Pint rest, Google plus, Face book, LinkedIn, Twitter and other.
